Indicator: B3.3.1.1.1 - Explain the reasons for studying the sacred scriptures of the three major religions among their followers
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- identify the sacred scriptures of Christianity, Islam and Traditional Religion and the people who use them.
- state at least three reasons why followers of each religion study their sacred scriptures.
- recite a simple text from at least one sacred scripture (Psalm 23, Al-Fatihah, or a traditional parable) and tell its moral lesson.
- explain in their own words how reading sacred scriptures helps people live well in their community.
