Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.5.5.1.2 - Demonstrate the use of different plant parts for agricultural and non-agricultural purposes.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Create at least two agricultural tools or materials from different plant parts and explain how each is used in farming activities.
- Create at least two non-agricultural items from different plant parts and state their everyday uses.
- Justify the choice of a particular plant part for a given task, comparing at least two possible options and explaining which is more suitable and why.
- Work in groups to plan, produce and present a plant-based product, describing the steps taken and the plant parts used.
- Classify the products created in the lesson as either agricultural or non-agricultural, giving reasons for each classification.
