Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.6.1.1.1 - Explain the meaning of the terms “time”, “leisure” and “idleness”.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:

- Define “idleness” as doing nothing when there is something to be done, and distinguish it from genuine rest or leisure.
- Differentiate between leisure and idleness by analysing short scenarios and sorting them into the correct category.
- Work in pairs to share ideas, listen to peers, and come to a shared conclusion about the meaning of the three terms.

1. Through Think-Pair-Share explain the meaning of "time", "leisure" and "idleness". • Time is the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future. Time is measured in hours, minutes, seconds, past, present, future, etc. It is a duration during which all things happen, or the instance when something happens. • Leisure: Break from normal work or school in the form of vacation, time for engaging in hobbies and recreational activities. • Idleness means whiling away time or doing nothing when there is something to be done.
