Indicator: B8.2.3.1.1 - Discuss smart and modern materials
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define smart materials and modern materials in their own words and give at least two distinguishing features of each.
- Identify at least five industries in Ghana where smart and modern materials are used, giving a specific example for each.
- Search for products made from smart and modern materials using ICT tools (mobile phones, school computers) and other sources such as product labels and newspapers.
- Classify given products under the correct smart or modern material category and justify their choice.
- Discuss the benefits and possible challenges of using smart and modern materials in everyday life.
