Indicator: B8.5.3.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define science, technology, and innovation and explain how the three are interconnected using local examples.
  2. Trace the journey of a common Ghanaian product or service from a scientific idea to a technological tool and then to an innovation.
  3. Discuss at least three technological advancements from the world and describe their positive and negative impacts on the Ghanaian environment and society.
  4. Work in groups to evaluate the quality and validity of information about a technological advancement, distinguishing between fact and opinion.
