By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define religious tolerance and religious intolerance in their own words.
- Identify at least three characteristics of a tolerant community from pictures, videos, or case studies.
- Identify at least three characteristics of an intolerant community from pictures, videos, or case studies.
- Compare tolerant and intolerant communities using a table or diagram.
- Classify given community scenarios as examples of tolerance or intolerance, justifying their answers.

Such pictures and videos are available on the internet. 2. From the pictures or video clips learners discuss characteristics of the two communities.
