Indicator: B2.4.2.1.1 - Explain ways to appreciate national symbols, as a responsible citizen

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  • Identify at least three national symbols of Ghana and describe what each one represents
  • Demonstrate appropriate behaviour when the National Anthem is played or the National Flag is raised
  • Explain at least two ways a responsible citizen can protect national symbols from damage or disrespect
  • Recite or sing the National Anthem and the National Pledge with respect and accuracy
  • Role-play scenarios showing how to respond when someone destroys or disrespects a national symbol
