Learning Objectives

Indicator: B9.3.3.1.1 - Know examples of situations in everyday life that depict enlargement situations in everyday life.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify at least five everyday situations in Ghana that involve enlargement and state what is being enlarged.
  2. Distinguish between enlargement that happens vertically, horizontally, and in both directions at once.
  3. Explain the nature of movement (direction and size change) in at least three enlargement situations from daily life.
  4. Use digital tools or visual aids to capture and describe an enlargement situation they observe around them.
  5. Sort given everyday examples into “enlargement” and “not enlargement” categories with correct justification.
