Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.2.4.1.1 - Recognise the need to be proud of their communities

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Explain at least two reasons why they should be proud of their community (where they live, the peace they enjoy).
  2. Identify and name at least three facilities or features in their community that make it special.
  3. Demonstrate through role play or dramatisation at least two actions that protect the environment and community facilities (e.g. not littering, reporting people who destroy public utilities).
  4. State at least one thing they will personally do to keep their community clean and peaceful.
  5. Show pride in their community by talking positively about it to others.
