Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.2.2.1.2 - Explore the important animals in the community

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least five domestic animals found in their community and describe one important use of each.
  2. Explain why the animals in their community are important to the people who keep them.
  3. Describe at least two ways people take care of animals, such as feeding and bathing them.
  4. Discuss with a partner why it is important to be kind to animals.
  5. Draw or describe one animal in the community and say how it is cared for.
