Learning Objectives
Indicator: B2.2.2.1.1 - Explore the important plants in the community
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Name at least five important crop plants found in their community, such as cocoa, yam, maize, and shea butter.
- Explain in simple terms why these plants are important, including how they give us food and money.
- Identify these crops when they see the real plants, pictures, or videos.
- Draw and colour one important crop plant from their community with reasonable accuracy.
- State at least two ways we can care for crop plants so they grow well.
