Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.5.1.1.1 - Explain how to keep the body clean and describe why it is important

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least four parts of the body that need regular cleaning (hands, finger nails, hair, teeth, ears, feet).
  2. Demonstrate the correct way to wash hands, trim nails, and care for hair using simple tools or their own hands.
  3. State at least three reasons why keeping the body clean is important (staying healthy, avoiding sickness, smelling fresh, feeling good).
  4. Explain why they should not share personal items such as combs, towels, nail clippers, and sponges with friends.
  5. Sing a short song or recite a rhyme about personal hygiene that describes at least one way to keep the body clean.
