Indicator: B4.2.1.1.2 - Determine the missing element(s) in a given table or chart
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify missing numbers in a given table or chart by examining the pattern in rows and columns.
- Apply the identified pattern (addition, subtraction, or multiplication) to find single missing elements.
- Determine multiple missing elements in a table or chart using consistent reasoning.
- Explain the reasoning behind each missing element they find, justifying their answers clearly.
- Complete a partially filled multiplication chart by using the relationship between rows and columns.
