Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.2.3.3.1 Apply movement concepts, principles, and strategies in performing intermediate level invasion sports (e.g., football, basketball, field hockey, etc.)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and demonstrate at least three movement concepts (space, effort, and relationships) in a small-sided invasion game such as football or basketball.
- Apply offensive and defensive strategies, including creating space, supporting the ball carrier, and marking opponents, during a 3v3 or 4v4 invasion game.
- Modify rules and equipment to include all learners of varying abilities in an invasion game activity.
- Organise and participate in a short class competition, showing collaboration, fair play, and confidence.
- Record their performance duration and personal observations in their self-journal as part of building consistent participation habits.
