Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.2.3.3.1 - Apply movement concepts, principles and strategies in performing beginning-intermediate level of invasion sports (e.g., handball, basketball and football etc.)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Demonstrate at least three invasion sport movement concepts (attack, defence, and transition) in a small-sided football or handball game.
- Apply the principles of creating space and supporting teammates during an attack in a 3v3 invasion game.
- Adapt the rules and equipment of a chosen invasion sport to make it inclusive for learners with varying abilities.
- Organise and participate in a small-group round-robin competition, showing collaboration and fair play.
- Record the estimated duration and performance measure of their participation in a self-journal entry.
