Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.3.1.1

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Demonstrate at least three basic footwork patterns (side shuffle, lunge step, and pivot) used in badminton, tennis, or table tennis during a practice drill.
  2. Apply the ready position and recovery-to-centre principle when returning a ball during a modified rally game.
  3. Explain how adapted rules and equipment (e.g., lower net, foam ball, larger racket) help include learners of different abilities in ball and racket sports.
  4. Organise and participate in a small-group round-robin competition, keeping score and applying fair-play strategies.
  5. Record the duration of their practice session in their self-journal and set one personal goal for improving their performance.
