Indicator: B7.1.2.3.4 - Find the value of a number written in index form.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Read and write numbers in index form, correctly identifying the base and the index (power).
- Expand a number written in index form as repeated multiplication of the base.
- Compute the value of a number in index form by multiplying the base by itself the number of times shown by the index.
- Solve word problems that require finding the value of a number written in index form in everyday situations.
