Read and write numbers in index form, correctly identifying the base and the index (power).
Expand a number written in index form as repeated multiplication of the base.
Compute the value of a number in index form by multiplying the base by itself the number of times shown by the index.
Solve word problems that require finding the value of a number written in index form in everyday situations.
