Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.3.3.3.3 - State dates of events and record calendar dates in a variety of formats
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- State the full date of a given event by reading it correctly from a calendar, including the day of the week, the date, the month and the year.
- Record the same calendar date in at least four different formats, including written format (Tuesday, 28th August 2018), short written format (28th August, 2018), abbreviated format (28-Aug-18), and numeric formats (28/08/2018 and 28.08.18).
- Identify and state the calendar dates of at least four major Ghanaian national holidays from a calendar or class chart.
- Collect, organise and present their own dates of birth in a table and on a simple timeline.
