Learning Objectives
Indicator: B4.1.1.2.2 - Describe the physical appearance of different types of plants (trees, shrubs, climbing, creeping)
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify the four main types of plants: trees, shrubs, climbing plants and creeping plants.
- Describe the physical features of each plant type in terms of structure (stem, branches) and size (height and thickness).
- Sort pictures or real plant samples into trees, shrubs, climbing plants and creeping plants using observable features.
- Draw or sketch one example of each plant type, labelling its main physical features.
- Create a simple plant album page showing one example of each plant type with a short written description.
