Lesson notes

Learning Objectives

Indicator: B4.2.2.1.1 - Observe, identify and give functions of the parts of a plant

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  2. State the function of each of these plant parts in their own words.
  3. Draw and label an annotated diagram of a young plant showing the roots, stem, leaves, and flower.
  4. Explain why each plant part is found in its particular position on the plant (e.g. roots underground, leaves above ground).
