Indicator: 3.1.1.LI.1 - Explain the concept of mental health and identify the common forms

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Define mental health in their own words, incorporating the idea that it involves emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
Explain the difference between mental health and mental illness.
Identify at least five common forms of mental health conditions (such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders).
Give examples of how mental health affects daily life, relationships, and academic performance.
Present and explain information about mental health using digital tools such as PowerPoint or posters.
