Indicator: 3.1.1.LI.1 - Explain the concept of mental health and identify the common forms
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define mental health in their own words, incorporating the idea that it involves emotional, psychological, and social well-being.
- Explain the difference between mental health and mental illness.
- Identify at least five common forms of mental health conditions (such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and eating disorders).
- Give examples of how mental health affects daily life, relationships, and academic performance.
- Present and explain information about mental health using digital tools such as PowerPoint or posters.
