Indicator: B9.3.4.1.3 - Prepare different types of manure.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

Sort and clean plant and animal waste materials according to their suitability for composting.
Construct a simple compost heap or pit using layers of green and dry materials.
Demonstrate the curing process by turning and moistening the compost pile correctly.
Identify signs that compost is ready for use in the garden.
Work collaboratively in groups to produce manure from available waste materials.
