Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.3.4.1.1 - Identify and describe the types of crops, animals and land combinations for the different farming systems
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least four different farming systems practised in Ghana and name the crops, animals and land combinations associated with each.
- Describe the key features of each farming system, including how land is used and which crops and animals are combined.
- Classify examples of crops and animals found in their own community into the correct farming system.
- Discuss at least one advantage and one disadvantage of each farming system identified.
- Present findings about farming systems to peers using clear, appropriate language for the audience.
