Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.1.3.LI.2 - Explain professional behaviour.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define professional behaviour in their own words, building on the concept of professionalism introduced in Week 11.
- Identify at least five specific examples of professional behaviour expected of an engineer in the workplace.
- Distinguish between professional and unprofessional behaviour when presented with workplace scenarios.
- Explain the link between professional behaviour, ethical conduct, and an engineer’s responsibility to society.
- Justify why punctuality, honesty, competence, and respect are considered core elements of professional behaviour.
