Indicator: B8.4.1.1.2 - Discuss the importance of conversion of energy.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain the steps involved in converting the energy of a dammed river into electrical energy.
- Describe at least two natural forms of energy (solar, wind, water) and explain how each can be converted into other usable forms.
- Discuss at least three reasons why energy conversion is important in everyday life and in national development.
- Analyse a given energy conversion scenario and make a judgement about its benefits to the community.
- Present a short explanation of an energy conversion process using language appropriate for a specified audience (e.g., younger pupils or community members).
