Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.4.1.1.1 - Describe energy conversion
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define energy conversion and list at least four common forms of energy (chemical, kinetic, electrical, heat, light, sound).
- Describe at least three everyday examples of energy being converted from one form to another, using the correct sequence of energy forms.
- Trace the complete energy conversion chain for a given device or situation (e.g., a torch, a solar panel, a person eating fufu).
- Draw a simple labelled diagram or flow chart showing energy conversion for one device of their choice.
- Explain, orally or in writing, why energy conversion is useful in daily life without yet discussing its importance in detail (which comes in Week 7).
