Indicator: B8.4.1.2.2 - Demonstrate how to manage sources of renewable energy sustainably.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Describe the stages involved in sustainably managing renewable energy sources, from harvesting to disposal or recycling.
  2. Identify and explain at least three challenges associated with managing solar, wind, hydro, and biomass energy in Ghana.
  3. Create a table that matches each renewable energy source with its management challenges and a practical solution.
  4. Demonstrate a sustainable management practice for a renewable energy source using a simple hands-on activity.
  5. Evaluate the sustainability of a renewable energy practice in their own community and suggest one improvement.
