Inquiry-based learning: In mixed-ability groups, learners brainstorm to come up with the meaning of fixed input and variable input in Agricultural production. Initiating talk learning: In the same groups, learners discuss the relationship between fixed input and variable input in Agricultural production. Experiential learning (Homework): In mixed-gender groups, learners visit a farm to catalogue items and equipment with fixed and variable costs and then present a report on their findings.
