Indicator: 1.2.2.LI.3 - Outline various distribution outlets and ways of marketing poultry produce and products.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least five distribution outlets for poultry produce and products in their community.
- Describe at least three different marketing methods for poultry produce, including digital and traditional approaches.
- Explain the importance of processing and packaging poultry products for festive seasons and special events.
- Demonstrate how to calculate the selling price of a poultry product, including production costs and profit margin, using a simple worked example.
- Create a simple advertisement (poster, social media post, or radio script) for a poultry product targeted at a specific outlet.
