Source document note

The official curriculum document has a fault in this entry, so the curriculum text above is transcribed exactly as printed:

  • content standard text - p.37: the content standard column is blank beside this indicator - B6.2.1.5 is never printed anywhere in B6 - so this text is the indicator's own, reused so the field is not empty. The indicator is also numbered .2 with no B6.2.1.5.1 printed

Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)

- Review composition of air and the uses of the components
- Learners, in groups, use simple experiments to show that air supports burning, using a lighted candle and a glass jar (or an improvised jar).
