Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.5.2.1.1 - Know how common skin diseases can be prevented

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Name at least three common skin diseases (rashes, eczema, ringworm) from pictures or descriptions.
  2. Demonstrate the correct way to bath and explain how regular bathing prevents skin diseases.
  3. State at least three ways to prevent common skin diseases, such as keeping the skin clean, drying the body well, and not sharing personal items like towels and clothes.
  4. Explain why it is important to seek medical attention when a skin disease appears, instead of hiding it or using unapproved treatments.
  5. Apply prevention methods to a real-life scenario by advising a friend or family member on how to avoid skin infections.
