Indicator: B3.4.1.1.1 - Gather and record Data

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State what data is and give at least two reasons why people collect data.
  2. Gather first-hand data by asking classmates a simple question and recording their responses.
  3. Record collected data using at least one method: tallies, checkmarks, lists, or tables.
  4. Answer simple questions based on the data they have recorded, and justify their answers using the recorded information.
  5. Work collaboratively in groups to collect, record, and present data to the class.
