Indicator: B8.3.2.1.1 - Identify and use of cutting and shaping tools and equipment
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three cutting and shaping tools used on a building site, in a wood workshop, and in a metal or plastics workshop.
- Describe the specific use of each identified tool in clear and simple terms.
- Work in groups to discuss and present the uses of cutting and shaping tools to the class.
- Sketch and label at least three cutting and shaping tools accurately.
- Select the appropriate cutting or shaping tool for a given task based on the material being worked on.
