Learning Objectives
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify and describe the different types of seed beds used in their community (ridges, mounds, flats, and raised beds) and match them to suitable crops.
- Select the correct plant part (seeds, seedlings, cuttings, leaves, or roots) for planting different crops on appropriate seed beds.
- Demonstrate the correct procedure for planting at least three different crops on three different types of seed beds.
- Explain the reasons why different crops are planted on different types of seed beds.
- Work in groups to plan and execute a planting activity, communicating their steps clearly to the rest of the class.
