Learning Objectives

Indicator: B8.2.3.2.1 - Compare and contrast the differences in height, size, and flowering of crops grown in different seed beds

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Measure and record the height, size, number of flowers, and number of fruits of crops planted in different seed beds using a measuring tape and ruler.
  2. Compare the growth measurements of crops grown in different seed beds and identify at least three observable differences.
  3. Present their findings using tables and simple line graphs showing the differences in crop growth across seed beds.
  4. Explain at least two reasons for the differences in height, size, and flowering of crops grown in different seed beds.
  5. Write a short presentation on their findings and share it with the class using clear and organised speech.
