Indicator: B8.4.3.1.1 - Explain the importance of conversion of energy and energy conservation in daily life
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define energy conversion and energy conservation in their own words, giving at least two examples of each from daily life.
- Explain at least three benefits of energy conversion and three benefits of energy conservation to individuals, families, and the nation.
- Classify given daily activities or devices according to whether they demonstrate energy conversion, energy conservation, or both.
- Use the internet or multimedia sources to gather information on the impact of energy use in Ghana and present their findings in a short oral presentation.
- Create a simple poster that shows one way to conserve energy at home or school, with a clear explanation of why it matters.
