Exemplars (from the NaCCA curriculum)
1. Identify the properties of paper and card board that make them suitable for use. E.g. - Paper: Medium weight, fairly smooth and fairly stiff; Ideal for making small paper models. - Cardboard: Stiff, smooth and thin; Good for creating greeting cards, paper models and other stand-up building projects. 2. Describe the properties of fabrics/textiles that make them suitable for use. E.g. - Absorbent:: can allow moisture vapour to pass through easily - Durable: can last long.
