Learning Objectives
Indicator: 3.1.3.LI.1 - Identify types of injuries
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Define an injury and distinguish between acute and chronic injuries using local examples from sport and daily life.
- Identify and name at least five common types of injuries, including their causes and typical body parts affected.
- Classify injuries into categories: soft tissue injuries, bone injuries, joint injuries, and wound injuries.
- Categorise injury severity as minor, moderate, or severe, and explain the basic reason for each classification.
- Use ICT tools to research, compile, and present a photo album showing different types of injuries with accurate descriptions.
