Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.5.4.1.1 - Examine various natural and human factors that influence climate change and green economy in their localities.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Identify at least three natural factors that influence climate change, such as volcanic eruptions, solar radiation changes, and variations in Earth’s orbit.
- Identify at least four human activities in their own localities that contribute to climate change, such as bush burning, deforestation, charcoal production, and improper waste disposal.
- Compare natural and human factors of climate change in terms of their speed, scale, and how controllable they are.
- Describe at least three practical ways to minimise human activities that influence climate change in their communities.
- Explain what a green economy means and give examples of green economy actions that could be adopted in their localities.
