Learning Objectives

Indicator: B3.3.4.1.1 - Describe the youthful lives of the leaders of the three major religions in Ghana

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. State the names of the three major religious leaders in Ghana: The Lord Jesus Christ, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), and a Traditional Religious Leader such as Egya Ahor.
  2. Describe at least two key facts about the youthful life of each of the three religious leaders.
  3. Identify the early occupation of each religious leader: Jesus Christ as a carpenter, Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) as a businessman, and Egya Ahor as a farmer.
  4. Write a short paragraph of three to four sentences describing the youthful life and occupation of one religious leader.
  5. Present their paragraph to the class and listen respectfully to presentations by their peers.
