Learning Objectives
Indicator: B3.4.1.1.1 - Identify good manners in the community
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least eight good manners practised in their community, such as greeting, courtesy, honesty, tolerance and respect for others.
- Explain in their own words why good manners are important for preserving the society, promoting unity and maintaining law and order.
- Demonstrate at least three good manners through role-play, showing the correct way to greet an elder, share with a friend and speak politely.
- Identify a situation in their community where good manners (or the lack of them) affect the people involved.
- State two things they personally can do to uphold good manners at home and in school this week.
