Learning Objectives

Indicator: B2.4.1.1.1 - Explain values cherished by individuals in society

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Define the term “value” in simple words and give at least three examples of values cherished in their community.
  2. Explain what respect, honesty, teamwork, hard work, obedience, and tolerance mean using their own words.
  3. Demonstrate at least two values through role play, showing how these values look in everyday actions.
  4. Identify how community members such as teachers, parents, and elders use these values to help raise children.
  5. Give one example of how showing a cherished value (such as love or honesty) can help someone in their school or home.
