Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.4.5.1.3 - Manufacture simple agricultural tools.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Select and prepare appropriate local materials for manufacturing a chosen simple agricultural tool.
- Follow a sequence of steps to manufacture at least one simple farm tool, such as a hoe, cutlass, or rake.
- Apply safe handling practices when using tools and materials during the manufacturing process.
- Test the finished tool for functionality and identify any needed adjustments or repairs.
- Evaluate the quality of their manufactured tool and suggest improvements for durability and usability.
