Learning Objectives
Indicator: B8.4.5.1.2 - Engage in the use of basic and simple agricultural tools for basic farm activities.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Explain how at least five different agricultural tools are used to perform specific activities on a farm or school garden.
- Demonstrate the correct handling and use of at least three basic agricultural tools during a practical session on the school garden.
- Select the appropriate tool for at least five given farm tasks and justify each choice with a clear reason.
- Work collaboratively in groups to complete a simple farm activity using the correct tools, following safety precautions.
- Evaluate their own and peers’ tool usage and suggest one improvement based on observation.
