Inquiry-based learning: Learners in mixed-ability/mixed-gender groups surf the internet for information on weed control. Managing talk for learning: Learners in mixed-ability groups discuss the methods of controlling weeds in farms and indicate their advantages and disadvantages. Think-pair-share: Learners in pairs discuss the materials, tools and equipment used in controlling weeds in farms. Experiential learning (An arranged lesson): Learners in gender-based groups apply various weed control methods on the school farm under the guidance of a technician, observing all the safety protocols.
