Think-pair-share: Learners in pairs brainstorm to come up with the meaning of weed dispersal using pictures and relevant resources. Collaborative learning: Learners in mixed-ability groups surf the internet for information on the agents and methods of weed dispersal, and discuss their findings in class. Structuring talk for learning: Learners in mixed-gender groups discuss the characteristics of weeds that influence their dispersal by the various agents, and present a report at a plenary session in class. Managing talk for learning: Learners in mixed-gender groups discuss the advantages and disadvantages of weed dispersal in Agriculture. Assessment (3.4.1.AS.2).
