Learning Objectives
Indicator: 1.2.1.LI.1 - Identify market needs for vegetables and ornamental plants.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- List at least five vegetables and five ornamental plants commonly demanded in their local market.
- Explain three factors that determine market demand for vegetables and ornamental plants, such as season, household income, and festive occasions.
- Conduct a simple market survey and record the types, quantities, and prices of vegetables and ornamental plants sold in a local market.
- Present findings from a community and market observation in small groups, using clear oral communication.
- Predict which vegetable and ornamental plant varieties would sell best in their community, giving reasons based on evidence gathered.
