Learning Objectives

Indicator: 3.2.3.LI.2 - Discuss components of kinesiology and how to apply them in physical education.

By the end of the lesson, learners can:

  1. Identify and define at least five components of kinesiology from a given list or scenario.
  2. Explain how each component of kinesiology influences human movement during physical activity.
  3. Demonstrate at least three kinesiology components through practical movement tasks in groups.
  4. Analyse a physical education activity and recommend kinesiology-based adjustments to improve performance or reduce injury risk.
  5. Present group findings on the application of kinesiology components, using appropriate terminology and clear communication.
