Learning Objectives
Indicator: 2.4.2.LI.1
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Observe and document at least five distinct process steps involved in the production of an indigenous beverage (beer or gin) during a visit to a local industry.
- Accurately record their observations using at least two methods: written notes and voice recording or photographs.
- Design a flow chart that correctly sequences the production processes observed at the local industry.
- Present their group’s findings to the class using the Talk For Learning approach, clearly explaining each stage of production.
- Compare the production methods of at least two different indigenous beverages (for example, pito and akpeteshie) and identify common scientific principles such as fermentation.
