Learning Objectives
Indicator: B9.5.4.2.1 - Assess data on climate change and green economy actions/ activities globally including Ghana and other countries.
By the end of the lesson, learners can:
- Research and identify at least three climate change and green economy actions currently taking place in Ghana.
- Access and describe at least two climate change and green economy actions from other countries using available sources.
- Compare and contrast climate change actions in Ghana with those in at least two other countries, noting similarities and differences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of these initiatives using clear criteria such as cost, impact, and sustainability.
- Prescribe with reasons the best practices that could serve as possible solutions to address climate change and green economy issues in Ghana.
This lesson builds on the previous week’s work where learners examined natural and human factors influencing climate change in their localities. Learners will now move from understanding causes to assessing what is being done about it, both at home and abroad.
